Synopsis

Soil management for agricultural production is a fundamental step to obtain high yields. This step must be done correctly to enable positive increases in the physical, chemical and biological characteristics of the soil and provide adequate conditions for the development of agricultural crops.

Such preparation can be conceptualized as a set of operations that perform the mechanical mobilization of the soil in order to provide adequate conditions for the sowing and development of agricultural crops. most of the root system of cultivated plants. Thus, the soil is cleared and there is also the mixing or incorporation of fertilizers, correctives and vegetal covering located on the surface. This soil preparation is one of the most important components of the production cost of agricultural crops and influences most properties related to soil quality.
